Game for the GMTK game jam. The original concept was that your previous attempts would play in real time around you and you would have to avoid them as they ran around, swung swords and died. But I found it funny to "die" and spawn a corpse in the air as a platform. So pivoted to that idea. Much more in the ballpark of my programming and time level. 

At the moment you have a maximum of 7 corpse spawns before they start overwritting each other. I can increase this with a small update if it turns out 7 is not enough :)


The assets are from the following places: character and some sounds are from the free gamemaker assets on the main website. The background, tiles, and enemies are "Pixel Forest" by Kauzz on Itch. And the music (which isn't in the first build) is "Free 12 Tracks Pixel RPG Game Music" by alakrab
